Properties of the rescaled KNN procedure.

For five values of K, the table shows the mean absolute error (MAE), mean squared error (MSE) and coverage probability of the proposed 90% prediction interval, using the validation dataset for the 2013 Boston marathon, for the various dropout points along the course. The results for MAE and MSE are directly comparable with those shown in Table 6 for the other procedures considered in this paper.
