The results were generated using a mathematical-numerical model of a heat and mass exchanger in thermally integrated distillation (HIDiC) applications developed within the NCN OPUS research project entitled "Experimental study and numerical simulations of counter-current two-phase flow in parallel channels with simultaneous diaphragm heat exchange and thermal separation of substances". They present a series of exchanger calculation results generated during the grid-search optimization for the minimum of the objective function expressed as the minimum of exergy loss (the highest energy efficiency of the apparatus).
