This specialized dataset is exclusively designed for testing 3D reconstruction and intelligent virtual restoration software for large-scale comprehensive museums, focusing on the digital twin requirements of cultural relics exhibited in their original state at the Palace Museum. It was constructed using integrated multi-technology data collection methods including 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry, and manual modeling. The data collection period spans from June 2023 to September 2025, with the collection site located at the Palace Museum. The dataset includes multiple types of data such as movable cultural relics and ancient architectural components, with a total data volume of 2.67 GB. The supported data formats cover 7 common types including .obj, .png, .bin, .pcd and others. The dataset has undergone strict quality control to ensure data integrity, accuracy consistency and scene representativeness. It can support the testing and validation of algorithms such as material texture restoration, geometry optimization, and point cloud completion for dougong, providing high-quality benchmark data for digital preservation of cultural relics, virtual exhibitions and scientific research analysis, and holds significant engineering application and academic research value.
