Time series of ROEC turbidity
收藏资源简介:
In early 2017, Shom set up a near-bottom turbidity observation network to measure turbidity and currents near the seabed continuously, at high frequency and over a long period of time (several years). Seven anchorages with ecological and/or sedimentological interests and impacted by anthropogenic activities (except the control point in the Celtic Sea) have been defined. The product “Temporary series of ROEC turbidity” contains the turbidity level records measured in NTU by the optical turbidimeters implanted at each of the 7 anchoring points of the monitoring network as well as the current records (speed (m/s) and direction (°) measured by a point currentometer. The data present in the product “Time series of ROEC turbidity” correspond to the raw data from the sensors NTUS (Wetlabs) and Aquadopp (Nortek) deployed on the various moorings and transcoded in the format.CSV. The time series are provided in their entirety and have not been the subject of post-processing. Files may therefore have some erroneous values related to one-off anomalies in the sensor’s acquisition or data-free intervals when the acquisition is experiencing interruption ranges.
