Autoimmune Polyglandular Syndrome Type 3v (APS3v) refers to the coexistence of autoimmune thyroiditis and diabetes in the same individual. Data represents sequences of five chromosomal regions (i.e., chr2q, chr6p, chr8p, chr13q and chrXp) that showed linkage with the disease in previous genome wide linkage studies in multiplex APS3v families. Deidentified blood samples from 372 Caucasian individuals from 105 families with at least one family member with APS3v were analyzed.
