Scanning densitometry analysis of the effect of metformin on pTen, p53 and specific cell cycle regulatory proteins.

Optical density was expressed as pTen, p53, cyclin D1, p21, Ras, Rb and E2F1 values normalized to the corresponding actin levels. A value of 100% was given to the optical density of IGF-I treated cells.
