Regional Landcare Facilitators Supporting Sustainable Agriculture

The Regional Landcare Facilitators (RLF) will work with individuals and groups who care for the land and manage natural resources including established Landcare groups, industry bodies, interest groups and private individuals that work on public and private land. The RLF will provide a conduit for information to flow to and from the Commonwealth to the Community, the Border Rivers-Gwydir Catchment Management Authority (CMA) and, from the 1st January 2014, Local Land Services (LLS). Actions under this project will contribute to developing a skilled and capable Landcare community through the adoption of management practices that improve agricultural production for public benefits. This project will be delivered in conjunction with the sub projects Sustainable Agriculture and Sustainable Environment.
