Weather Station on Top of the Roof of the Institute Building of the Max-Planck-Institute for Biogeochemistry, Atmospheric CO₂ and Meteorological Data Supporting Carbon-Aware and Regime-Based CO₂ Forecasting

This dataset contains processed meteorological and atmospheric CO₂ observations used for carbon-aware and regime-based CO₂ trend forecasting. The data include time-aligned measurements of atmospheric CO₂ concentration and associated meteorological variables, such as temperature, humidity, pressure, radiation, and wind-related parameters. The dataset was derived from publicly available observations provided by the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry (MPI-BGC), Jena (https://www.bgc-jena.mpg.de/wetter/weather_data.html), and preprocessed for analysis, feature selection, and regime-aware forecasting as described in the associated Applied Artificial Intelligence manuscript.
