Results of Genotyping Selected Grape Varieties for the Presence of Key Resistance Loci Against Downy and Powdery Mildew

This study presents the results of genotyping various grapevine varieties to identify presence/absence key resistance loci against downy mildew and powdery mildew. Analyses were conducted using different SSR markers linked to individual resistance loci, exemplifying the application of Marker-Assisted Selection technique in viticulture. The results formed the basis for creating a genetic part of database of interspecific varieties and genotypes, as of January 22, 2025, within a publicly accessible database available at pijwino.cz.
