This dataset accompanies the article Media Literacy in Teacher Education: Bridging Theory and Practice in Kazakhstan. It contains anonymized survey data collected from in-service foreign language educators and undergraduate teacher education students in Kazakhstan during 2024. The study investigated educators’ media literacy competencies and students’ experiences in media-integrated elective courses.
