Circadian gating of the inflammatory response by macrophage insulin receptor (PRJCA035306)

This project aims to investigate the circadian rhythm of inflammatory responses in macrophages with specific deletion of the insulin receptor (IR). Macrophages were collected from wild-type (WT) mice and insulin receptor knockout (IRKO) mice to assess changes in their inflammatory levels over time.Additionally, peritoneal macrophages from myeloid-specific BMAL1 knockout mice were utilized to analyze the role of the clock protein BMAL1 in regulating the circadian rhythm of macrophage inflammatory responses.
