Understanding the characteristics and pathogenesis of intestinal diseases under metabolic disorders is crucial for developing effective interventions. Here we successfully constructed a transgenic (TG) Bama pig model using CRISPR/Cas9 technique by knocking in three humanized risk susceptibility genes. TG pigs were also administered a high-fat and high-sugar diet (HFHSD) for 4, 8, and 12 months to accelerate the progression of metabolic disorders.Transcriptomic sequencing was performed to assess the colonic function in TG pigs.
