Code data and all COI sequences

To construct the phylogenetic tree form the 127 samples using their <i>COI</i> gene sequences along with all the 24 <i>COI</i> gene sequences reported in Sun et al.We developed 10 demographic models (setting a single ancestral population) with only population split events or the combination of split and admixture events at the presence/absence of migration from Asian to the Americas and the Mediterranean populations (Supplementary Fig. 4a; see Methods). The scripts are organised as follows:Scripts are written in BASH, PYTHON, PERL and R and were developed and tested on Centos Linux v7.9. Other Linux distributions may be compatible but no testing has taken place in this regard. -Supplementary_fsc28_three_populations.sh: The shell of a complex demographic history analysis using fastSimcoal2 (ver 2.8.0.0 - 22.09.23).
