NTCs funded by Heart of Birmingham April 2005-March 2012 with follow up surgeries

A summary sheet in PDF provided by Heart of Birmingham PCC (as was). It shows 8,212 infant religious circumcisions funded over 7 financial years with the cost of those surgeries (£757,125) and also the incidence of follow up urological surgeries in each year (note these are broken down with details in a separate file - see the West Midlands folder). This summary sheet also gives a snapshot of readmission data for both calendar year 2011 and FY 2011/12 showing no patients/episodes and total cost. Clearly many of these will not be relevant, but as NHS Oldham suggested around 77% emergency cases presenting in 30d of an NTC may be related, it's reasonable to assume many of these acute admissions will reference adverse effects of the circumcision. Note that this summary doesn't include the incidence/cost of visits to A&E/GP in 30 days post circumcision: this would be extra.
