Transcripts are generally done in the following cases: if required by a judge or counsel; for all criminal matters; for all matters part heard; and for cases where further court action might ensue.The earliest transcripts, which are generally bound in volumes, mainly relate to actions in the Supreme Court. From 1899 to 1960 the transcripts are arranged by judge then jurisdiction and then chronologically.For the years from 1961 to 1987 the transcripts are generally bound into volumes and arranged by jurisdiction (eg. Criminal, Causes etc.) then alphabetically by case name.For the years 1988 to 1992 the transcripts are held as unbound papers in file boxes arranged by jurisdiction, then alphabetically by case name with the exception of a single case in NRS-2713-33, 1987 and 1988 Transcripts, Cooper (R v Tivey & Ors) that is arranged by Judge then chronologically.Transcripts for the years 1993 to 1999 are arranged by name of Judge (with the exceptions of Court of Appeal and Banco), then chronologically.Transcripts from 2000 to 2001 are arranged by name of Judge only, then chronologically, with no indication of jurisdiction.
