To understand whether activation of ATR-dependent replication stress response could result in global transcriptional alterations similar to that of 2C-like cells, we performed whole transcriptional profiling on three mouse ESC lines, namely E14, R1 and MC1 upon aphidicolin treatment treatment or aphidicolin + ATR inhibitor treatment. For comparison we also did whole transcriptome profiling of the three cell lines without any treatment.
