This statistic presents the results of a survey conducted in Italy as of 2016 among the so-called Post-Millennials (people born in 1995 or later), broken down by gender. During the survey, respondents were asked to indicate which types of financial products they own. It can be observed that a higher percentage of male teenagers used to have financial products in comparison with their female counterparts in all the considered product categories. As of the survey period, 52 percent of male youngsters and 44 percent of girls used to possess a credit card or a prepaid card.
