VPRS 7570 Applications for Patients' Leave of Absence

This series consists of applications made on behalf of patients seeking leave of absence from the asylum. Each application is signed by the person who was responsible for the patient while they were on leave and the medical superintendent and approved by the Inspector-General. Details recorded include:- the relationship between patient and person responsible for them while on leave,- the place where the patient would reside while on leave, and- dates of leave.This series is not complete as applications between 1906 and 1918 are missing.System of Arrangement/Control:Chronological by date of leave.
