Acmispon strigosus (formerly Lotus strigosus) is a widespread annual herb and a foundational California native legume. It is a species that promotes the colonization of other native flora, especially in disturbed habitats, by changing soil microbial composition through selectively rewarding beneficial nitrogen-fixing microbes. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
