Derived observation and model products for sunset-sector F-region restructuring over Taiwan during the 20 January 2026 storm

This research compendium accompanies the study Sunset-sector restructuring of the ionospheric F region over Taiwan during the 20 January 2026 storm. Version 3.0 aligns the open materials with the current manuscript and provides selected CWA/GDMS GNSS TEC, ROTI and clearly labelled 1 Hz C/N0-derived S4-proxy products; selected Hualien VIPIR-derived traces, picks, profiles, sensitivity products and quality records; the current Figures 1–10 and S1–S9; Movies S1–S4; selected global SAMI3 E1/P0 products and density-budget diagnostics; study-specific processing code, wrappers, model settings, forcing reconstruction tools, observation operators, figure-source mappings and selected replay inputs. The current manuscript uses the global SAMI3 calculations to describe the evolving storm-time background; it does not claim that global SAMI3 reproduces the observed westward bubble-associated front. Auxiliary ESF experiments and all restricted ESF source, binaries, configuration, initial conditions and runtime are excluded from this version. The archive does not redistribute raw CWA T02/RINEX, raw VIPIR RIQ/TGZ, proprietary conversion environments, credentials, the official POLAN distribution or complete upstream SAMI3 source. CWA-derived products should be credited to the Taiwan Central Weather Administration and its GDMS portal. VIPIR observations were provided by coauthor Lung-Chih Tsai and should be cited with DOI 10.3319/TAO.2013.12.19.01(AA).
