Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing of Infectious spleen and kidney necrosis virus

To obtain the site-by-site methylation landscape of the infectious spleen and kidney necrosis virus (ISKNV) genome, whole-genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) was performed on an ISKNV strain from 3 duplicate samples. Overall design: After infecting Mandarin fish fry (MFF-1) cells for 7 days with ISKNV (OP896201.1) at 27 °C and 5% carbon dioxide using Dulbecco's modified Eagle medium (DMEM), samples collected by repeated freezing and thawing were centrifuged. The total DNA of virion was extracted following to the manufacturer's protocol (Vazyme) and WGBS was performed.
