资源简介:
The ascomycete Phaeoacremonium minimum is one of the primary causal organisms of the grapevine trunk disease Esca. This vascular pathogen colonizes woody organs of the grapevine worldwide, reducing yields and shortening the life span of the infected plants. Esca internal symptoms include localized necrotization of the secondary xylem, which appears as black spots or streaks, while external symptoms comprise “tiger-stripes”, delayed bud break, formation of necrotic spots or “measles” on berries, and premature raisining of the fruit in mild forms of the disease, or vine apoplexy, which consists of sudden and rapid wilting of the whole vine, in more severe cases. We explore the intraspecific genetic diversity of the grapevine Esca pathogen Phaeoacremonium minumum and its impact on secondary metabolism gene clusters using both whole-genome resequencing and pan-transcriptome reconstruction.
