Side-by-Side Comparison of Post-Entry Quarantine and High Throughput Sequencing Methods for Virus and Viroid Diagnosis

This study performs a comparison between two HTS methods (RNA-Seq and sRNA-Seq) analysed using different bioinformatics tools, and traditional assays at post-entry quarantine facilities for the detection of plant regulated viruses and viroids to assess the feasibility of adopting HTS testing as a diagnostics tool in quarantine facilities.
