Raw Data from morpho-physiological measurements taken from <i>Th</i>. distichum salinity stress trial and the EC values of salt and sea water collected at locations across the Western Cape provinces coastline.

<i>Th. distichum</i> has an inherent ability to withstand a highly saline environment. Through the measurement of important morpho-physiological parameters a better understanding of the extent of this salt tolerance was gained, as well as an indicator of the salt tolerance mechanism at play.
