资源简介:
Anorexia Nervosa (AN) is the most serious eating disorder that affects 1-2.2% of young women (peak at 14-18 years old). Its important disease burden is reflected by a higher mortality rate, up to 12 times in the most severe and chronic forms, as compared to general population. Our study aims to understand whether the specific microbiota from patients suffering from a chronic pure restrictive form of anorexia nervosa, in acute and severe phase of undernutrition, impact the different dimensions of host physiology: food consumption and weight gain, body composition, behavior, mucosal immunity, ovarian and liver physiology, and whether microbiota is a mediator of symptoms associated with the disease stage.
