MinION full 16S amplicon sequencing from mock microbial community and bacterial communities recovered by modified culture media.

Testing of MinION nanopore sequencing device to resolve microbial community composition at species/strain level. We have amplified almost full 16S rDNA using broad coverage primers. We tested a mock community composition to evaluate coverage, reconstruction of almost full 16S sequences, variants, and basic sequence analysis to determine performance of MinION in this analysis.
