北京市5km格网土壤碳分布数据（1980s-1990s）是关于中国土壤碳分布估算，栅格数据属性值是土壤有机碳贮量（SOCS,Ctha-1）。本数据集根据中国土种志(1-6册)，按省份、植被类型提取土壤层次、剖面数、厚度、碳氮含量。从134篇中文期刊文选中按地点、植被类型提取土层深度数据和土壤有机质或土壤养分数据，最后空间化形成土壤碳空间分布数据。

The 5 km grid soil carbon distribution dataset of Beijing Municipality (1980s–1990s) focuses on the estimation of soil carbon distribution in China. The attribute value of the raster data is soil organic carbon storage (SOCS, t C ha⁻¹). This dataset extracts soil horizons, number of profiles, thickness, carbon and nitrogen contents based on provinces and vegetation types from *Soil Species of China* (Volumes 1–6. Additionally, soil depth data, soil organic matter or soil nutrient data were extracted according to locations and vegetation types from 134 Chinese academic journal articles, and finally spatialized to generate the spatial distribution dataset of soil carbon.
