Consumers are spending more and more time using media and technology every year. A 2022 study in the United States found that consumers were spending on average 13 hours 5 minutes with media and technology per day. Out of this, 5 hours 17 minutes of this was with video, 2 hours 51 minutes with audio, 1 hour 47 minutes with gaming, and 1 hour 33 minutes on messaging and social media. In 2026, the total amount of time is projected to reach 13 hours 15 minutes. This will be 5 hours 14 minutes of video consumption, 2 hours 55 minutes of audio, 1 hour 59 minutes of gaming, and 1 hour 33 minutes of messaging and social media.
