PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a carbon fiber unwoven fabric reducing generation of defects such as wrinkle or nick， suppressing cut of a sheet and excellent in uniformity of a tone. SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method for forming a carbon fiber unwoven fabric containing a recycled carbon fiber and a thermoplastic resin fiber by a wet type papermaking method， in which a slurry by dispersing the recycled carbon fiber in water using a high speed rotation shear type dispersion machine is used， a water drop is sprayed to wet paper at passage through a couch roll 3 with water amount of 0.2 L to 2.5 L per 1 square meter of the wet paper in a foamer part 5 of a wire part.
