Bathymetry Points Count Fishnet, Lake Victoria, Vector Polygon, ~2018 Reference Information and Units: Projected Coordinate System: Africa Lambert Conformal Conic ESRI:102024 (https://epsg.io/102024) GCS: GCS_WGS_1984 File Naming Convention: Fishnet_Poly_With_Bathy_Count.shp Data Origin: Developed at Salisbury University by combining the fishnet_poly.shp and the latest bathymetry points file. Code: Code can be found in the Feature_Counter_Per_Fishnet_Cell.py file. Inside the file are instruction on how to operate the code. Data Development: Data was developed using python code that utilizes the Arcpy library. The code iterates through each fishnet cell and counts the number of features of interest that fall in that cell. This number is then appended to the attribute table.
