ETS1 mediated Ovarian cancer progression. Homo sapiens

Altered metabolism in the cancer cells manifest different stages of cancer progression including metastasis. To understand the underlying mechanism of ETS1 mediated glycolytic dependance of the ovarian cancer cells, ETS1 was over-expressed in SKOV3 cells and subjected to Transcriptomics analysis. Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) followed by Q-RT PCR revealed that ETS1 could regulate glycolysis of the cancer cells by regulating the expression of several glycolytic genes.
