资源简介:
Macrophage foam cells play a crucial role in atherosclerosis. A recent publication reported a Toll like receptor (TLR) dependent pathogenic macrophage transition to an inflammatory lipid associated phenotype in human intraplaque immune cell communities. However, the mechanisms regulating the emergence of inflammatory lipid laden macrophages remain to be fully elucidated. To model macrophage foam cells, we incubated bone marrow derived macrophages (BMDM), obtained from Apoa1bp-/-Ldlr-/- or Ldlr-/- mice, with 20 ug/mL oxidized LDL (OxLDL) for 24 hours. In these RNA seq data, we provide evidence of upregulated genes in AIBP deficient BMDMs broadly associated with atherosclerosis progression, including pathways not directly downstream of TLR4 signaling.
