资源简介:
This trancriptome analysis reveals the first detailed analysis on how the remnant lens epithelial cells (LECs) greatly reprogram their transcriptome by 24 hours post cataract surgery (PCS) and the dependence of this phenomenom on endogenous Ã8 integrin gene expression. Overall design: Living mice of both WT and Ã8ITGcKO were subjected to lens fiber cell removal leaving behind the lens epithelium and capsule to model human cataract surgery. NovaSeq 6000, S2 100PE transcriptome profiling was performed in biological triplicate on remnant LECs isolated either immediately after surgery or 24 hours later in order to ascertain the response of lens epithelial cells to cataract suregery with the goal of understanding the role of aVÃ8 integrin in posterior capsular opacification (PCO) pathogenesis.
