Samples from the fill of four hearth features at site 48SU4435 in southwestern Wyoming
were floated to recover macrofloral remains. This site is a prehistoric camp containing hearth
features, lithic debris, fire-cracked rock, and bone fragments. Macrofloral analysis is used to
provide information concerning plant resources that might have been processed in the hearths and
woods burned as fuel.
