CAMELS-PE: Catchment Attributes and Meteorology for Large-sample Studies in Peru
收藏资源简介:
CAMELS-PE (Catchment Attributes and Meteorology for Large-sample Studies - Peru) is a large-sample hydrological dataset developed for Peru under the CAMELS framework. Version 1.0.1 includes 136 catchments distributed across the Pacific, Atlantic, and Titicaca hydrographic regions of Peru. Compared with Version 1.0, Version 1.0.1 does not introduce changes to the dataset contents. This release adds a standalone Technical Documentation describing the dataset structure, files, variables, conventions, and metadata to facilitate data use independently of the accompanying manuscript, following the recommendations of Earth System Science Data (ESSD) The dataset provides a standardized collection of hydroclimatic, physiographic, hydrological, and geospatial information for Peruvian catchments and gauging stations. CAMELS-PE is intended to support hydrological modeling, regionalization, hydroclimatic analysis, climate impact assessment, machine learning applications, and large-sample hydrology studies. The dataset includes: - station metadata- daily hydroclimatic time series- climatic indices- hydrological signatures- topographic attributes- land cover attributes- geological attributes- soil attributes- human intervention attributes- gauging station locations- catchment boundaries CAMELS-PE follows a standardized folder and variable structure inspired by existing international CAMELS datasets, facilitating reproducible workflows and comparative hydrological studies. The dataset is compatible with the RCamelsPE package for R:https://github.com/hllauca/RCamelsPE The CAMELS-PE viewer:https://www.senamhi.gob.pe/camels-pe/
