AMS dates were obtained from monospecic samples of planktonic foraminifer Globigerina bulloides of core PS2561-2. Correction is based on the South Atlantic surface water reservoir age of 800 years (Bard, 2002). Calender age was calculated using Calibration Curve CalPal_2007_HULU on www.CalPal.de (University Cologne, Radiocarbon Calibration and Paleoclimate Research Package). Samples yielded ca. 1 mg Carbon each.
