资源简介:
Nippostrongylus brasiliensis is an intestinal nematode of rodents, closely related to the human hookworms (Ancylostoma and Necator) which infect an estimated 740 million people in tropical countries, and to Haemonchus contortus, the worldwide parasite of sheep and goats now being sequenced. N. brasiliensis is easily maintained in the laboratory, and has become widely used as an immunological and biochemical model for nematode parasites. This project aims to sequence and analyse the nuclear genome of N. brasiliensis with the goal of producing reference quality genome sequence. Sequence data are being produced using 454 rapid sequencing technology and Illumina sequencing. . This data is part of a pre-publication release. For information on the proper use of pre-publication data shared by the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute (including details of any publication moratoria), please see http://www.sanger.ac.uk/datasharing/
