Buchwaldoboletus xylophilus strain:Zeng10385 Genome sequencing and assembly

Buchwaldoboletus xylophilus (Petch) Both & B. Ortiz, a non-ectomycorrhizal bolete species listed as a priority conservation species in the Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park. This BioProject presents a reference genome assembly and annotation for this saprotrophic fungus. The genome data provide valuable resources for studies on fungal metabolism, saprotrophic lifestyle evolution, and support future research on species conservation, cultivation, and sustainable utilization of bolete fungi.
