Data for: Effects of User Interaction on Trust in Generative AI Systems

The data were collected from two experimental studies investigating how different forms of user interaction with generative AI systems influence trust and user experience. The dataset consists of two files: "RawDataExp1.xlsx" and "RawDataExp2.csv", corresponding to Experiment 1 and Experiment 2, respectively. In both experiments, participants interacted with an image generation system across multiple task scenarios (e.g., hiking, travel, café, and live events). Participants completed repeated trials under different interaction conditions, including button-based interaction and prompt-based input. The file "RawDataExp1.xlsx" contains data from Experiment 1, which focuses on the effects of user agency. This file includes detailed interaction logs such as user prompts, preset prompts, trial sequences, retry behavior, timestamps, and subjective evaluations (e.g., satisfaction, workload, and trust-related ratings).
