Organic acids are the main active components in plants, which would influence the biodegradation of PAHs in plants. However, the molecular biological mechanism by which organic acids promote the degradation of PAHs by endophytes remains unclear. Here, We evaluated the degradation efficiency of pyrene by pyrene-degrading bacteria PRd5 under the treatment of appropriate concentration of dibasic acid. Also we implemrnted transcriptomics approaches. These results showed that different dibasic acids exhibited different promotion mechanisms.
