资源简介:
Talaromyces marneffei is an important thermal dimorphic pathogenic fungus capable of causing fatal opportunistic infections in humans. Progressive disseminated talaromycosis marneffei emerges not only in immunocompromised hosts, but also in immunocompetent hosts. Talaromyces marneffei is regional epidemics, mainly endemic in Southeast Asia and southern China. The prevalence of human talaromycosis marneffei is on the increase in accordance with the upright incidence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. The mortality rate is significantly high if early diagnosis and appropriate systemic antifungal therapy can not be given. Bamboo rats play a key role in carring the Talaromyces marneffei. Herein, we sequenced and asembled genome of clinical isolated strain , so that we could better understand the disease.
