Richmond River Riparian Restoration Project

This project will address threats to freshwater rivers and creeks on the floodplain and wetlands within the Richmond River catchment across five prioritised sites. The threats facing these sites include weed infestation, stream bank erosion and reduced connectivity and habitat availability as a result of land clearing and poor water quality. The Green Army team will undertake manual, biological and chemical weed control, strategic revegetation, stream bank rehabilitation, surveying and mapping.
