Analysis of operating theatre peri-operative nurses

This study applied qualitative approach to collect data through face to face interview regarding the importance of preparing the operating room before commencement of surgery. Based on the findings of the study, majority of the participants agreed that it is important to prepare the operating theatre room before commencement of a surgery. The participants outlined the factors that facilitated efficient preparations and they identified the barriers.The participants produced rich and in-depth information through probing and getting the most information relevant to answer the research questions of the study. The thematic data analysis within qualitative approach as a method of analysing the data was followed.The file contains the the categories, themes and subthemes produced during data analysis.
