资源简介:
Bamboo is a kind of important non-timber forest plants widely distributed in the tropical and subtropical areas of Asia, Africa, America, and Pacific islands. It belongs to Bambusoideae in Gramineae family, including more than 1,400 described species in 115 genera. In spite of its widespread applications as food and bioenergy, the gene repertoire of bamboo remains largely unexplored. Raddia distichophylla (Schrad. ex Nees) Chase, belonging to the tribe Olyreae (Bambusoideae, Poaceae) , are herbaceous and do not have a woody stem. This species is native to Brazil (Bahia). In this study, we report a draft assembly of the approximately ~589Mb whole-genome sequence of R. distichophylla.
