Comparative genomics of Cadophora luteo-olivacea strains from diverse hosts and environments

This BioProject comprises whole-genome sequencing data of twelve Cadophora luteo-olivacea strains isolated from diverse hosts and environmental sources worldwide. The collection includes isolates from grapevine, almond, apple, Crocus bulbs, soil, air, wastewater, and deep-sea sediment.The objective of this project is to investigate genome-wide diversity, pathogenic potential, and ecological adaptation within C. luteo-olivacea through comparative genomics, with the aim of elucidating the genetic basis of its ecological versatility and plant pathogenicity, particularly in relation to grapevine trunk diseases such as Petri disease and Esca.
