The current version of CellTalkDB contains a panel of 3398 human and 2033 LR interaction pairs for humans and mice, respectively, originally curated from the STRING database step by step. LR interaction pairs in CellTalkDB include 815 ligands, 780 receptors and 3735 evidences among humans and 651 ligands, 588 receptors and 2601 evidences among mice. By aligning orthologs of ligands and receptors of humans and mice, 1474 common LR pairs for humans and mice were observed. Besides, 1924 human-specific LR pairs, and 559 mouse-specific LR pairs were identified.
