Code, processed data, and SAM simulation configuration files accompanying the manuscript "Maximum updraft velocity beyond CAPE: the role of boundary layer dynamics and pressure perturbations," submitted to Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics (ACP). This deposit includes: (1) analysis code for equation discovery (feature selection and symbolic regression) and figure generation, runnable from the included processed data alone; (2) preprocessing code for cloud tracking and feature computation, which requires raw SAM output not included here; (3) cloud-level processed datasets (pre-storm and in-cloud sets) used for equation fitting and figures; and (4) SAM namelists and forcing files for the five radiative-convective equilibrium regimes analyzed in the paper. See the included README for a full file-by-file description and the mapping between paper figures/tables and scripts. Raw simulation output is available from the corresponding author upon request.
