Gut microbiome composition in acute leukaemia

This BioProject contains 16S rRNA gene sequencing data from stool samples collected longitudinally from adult acute leukaemia patients undergoing intensive chemotherapy. Participants were divided into two groups, including those with no prior chemotherapy exposure and those with prior chemotherapy exposure. The gut microbiome was assessed using 16S rRNA sequencing targeting the V3 - V4 region on the Illumina platform.The dataset includes raw paired-end FASTQ files for all stool samples, along with associated metadata including sample ID. This dataset is intended to support studies of chemotherapy-associated changes in the gut microbiome and host immune factors in acute leukemia.
