Metataxonomic sequencing of fungal communities in Pilidium lythri contaminated strawberry.

The primary goal of this study was to investigate how the emergin fungal phytopthogen (Pilidium lythi) impacts plant-microbe interactions within soil (bulk soil, rhizosphere) and plant (roots) niches of strawberry. The study aimed to reveal mechanisms of pathogens infection that disrupts microbial assembly processes and shifts microbial interactions in infected niches.
