UGT1 and UGT2 loci sequencing in drug metabolizing and hormono-dependent tissues

This study aimed to establish the human UGT transcriptome landscape by UGT-targeted mRNA sequencing. UDP-glucuronosyltransferases (UGTs) are key enzymes involved in the metabolism and detoxification of many endogenous compounds and drugs of all classes. A comprehensive knowledge of UGT transcriptome is essential for a better understanding of their functions.
